Mathcamp 2002: What Does It Cost?Tuition and FeesThe basic fees for Mathcamp 2002 are as follows (all amounts are in US dollars):
The camp fee for each student includes tuition, camp activities, and field trips. The fee for residential students also includes room and board. Note that every student whose annual household income is below $100,000 automatically qualifies for a tuition reduction. For example, if a student's total household income is $40,000 or below, the camp fee is automatically lowered to $2195 for a residential student or $1495 for a non-residential student. We also award over $15,000 in additional scholarships, based on a combination of merit and need. See the Financial Assistance for details. Successful applicants will receive an acceptance letter and registration form. When returning the Mathcamp 2002 registration form, we asked that applicants include a camp deposit of $1000 U.S. funds ($500 for students qualifying for a tuition reduction). The balance of the fee is due on the first day of camp. If you decide to withdraw from the camp and notify us before June 21, 2002, the camp fee deposit will be returned to you, less an administrative fee of $US 100. After that date, refunds are available only for absence due to illness. In this case, the student will be reimbursed for the time he or she missed, less an administrative fee of $US 100. |
