**To cancel an instance refresh**

The following ``cancel-instance-refresh`` example cancels an in-progress instance refresh for the specified Auto Scaling group. ::

    aws autoscaling cancel-instance-refresh \
        --auto-scaling-group-name my-asg

Output::

    }
