**To delete a specified metric stream**

The following ``delete-metric-stream`` example deletes the metric stream named ``QuickPartial-gSCKvO`` in the specified account. ::

    aws cloudwatch delete-metric-stream \
        --name QuickPartial-gSCKvO 

This command produces no output.
