This would lead to a conflict in %para-level; if both %just-para.class; and %block-display.class; named <p>. So %just-para.class; is replaced here in %para-level;. This is backward compatible for all XML documents. If a JATS customization has modified %just-para.class; they may need to change their customization to accommodate. 4.
