CoCalc's user interface received a significant update. A new **"Menu Toolbar"** unifies how all editors present their functionality.

A familiar looking menu bar collects all available options for the edited document, the layout and the underlying file. Below that menu bar, a newly designed button bar exposes commonly used menu items for quick access.

You can adjust which buttons are shown by clicking on the icon in the menu entry. This toggles its visibility in the row of buttons. You can also completely disable the button bar via the menu for a specific type of editor.
