The project software environment has been updated. Version `2024-03-25` is now the default. It includes **[SageMath 10.3](https://github.com/sagemath/sage/wiki/Sage-10.3-Release-Tour)** as the default. As usual, you can still use older versions by switching to a different Jupyter Kernel or use the `sage_select` command-line utility to change what `sage` is actually running.

As usual, there are also a ton of upgrades for the Python 3 (system-wide) environment, R, and various underlying Linux packages.

If you run into problems, please let us know in support. You can also always switch back to the previous environment in Project Settings → Control → Software Environment and select "Ubuntu 22.04 
 // Previous".

`2024-03-29`: a small patch update has been released, which mainly fixes a `pandas` vs. `openpyxl` incompatibility involving reading `*.xslx` files.
